Belgian Mums

We are proud to grow some of the best mums in the industry: these are the type known as Belgian chrysanthemums.

Belgians were developed as a landscaper variety: we have been growing them since 1996 and maintain them as our staple mum crop...they are very impressive. You generally will not find these at most discount stores or home centers.

Belgian Mums show vigorous growth: they will maintain a great globular shape and produce HUNDREDS of brilliant flowers on every plant. The bracts are extremely strong with a minimum of breakage. These will not grow tall, then fall over and break like the older varieties of mums; and in their 2nd year of growth, these mums can achieve over 3' diameter! They are more winter hardy than the old types, also and can the plant can withstand a short period temperature of 27 degrees without excessive damage if somewhat protected.

We have a great variety of colors available: Yellows, Bronze, Red, Pinks, Lavenders, Cerise, Purples and white.

Plants are in gallon containers and are priced at $5 each or 6 for $27 ($4.50 each)
If you have a retail outlet, we offer a price break for quantities over 50...email for details.
We also have some small 5" pots for $2.00. (same mum, just smaller)

We also have some potted bronze grasses, purple millet, assorted culinary herbs and others available.

This time of year we need to make an approximate appointment of when to expect your visit...We are available most days after 3:30 pm until dark...and generally all day on Wednesdays and Sundays.
